    With a career dedicated to serving older adults in various healthcare settings and in the community, I am passionate about enhancing community-based services and supporting Aging-in-Place solutions.

    As a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist, I aim to address the challenges of home accessibility and upkeep, empowering individuals to live comfortably and independently in their homes.

    For 30+ years, I have served older adults in various settings and leadership positions in therapeutic recreation, marketing, fundraising, and grant writing. I am passionate about supporting the well-being and independence of older adults with the best tools and resources possible.  This is accomplished by connecting and collaborating with individuals, families, organizations, local government, and businesses to reach common goals for an Age-Friendly Minnesota.

Our Story

With careers in healthcare, we have had the privilege of working with individuals navigating significant life transitions. Time and again, we witnessed patients returning home, only to find that their once-comfortable space was no longer safe or accessible. Stairs became obstacles, bathrooms posed risks, and doorways no longer welcomed movement with ease. It was difficult to witness people facing challenges in their own homes, a place that typically offers comfort, independence, and security.

We founded fiNest Home Services with a clear mission: to help individuals age in place. No one should have to choose between staying in their home and their safety. By providing expert home remodeling, accessibility solutions, and proactive home maintenance, we empower people to remain in the communities they love while ensuring their homes evolve with their needs.
